Tajik State University of Commerce
The Tajik State University of Commerce, one of the leading HEIs in the Republic of Tajikistan, was founded as Trade Institute in 1987. Today TSUC, with more than 3 thousand students and more than 200 teaching staff, is an important educational institution in the market of educational services of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Tajik State University of Commerce was the first university in the Republic that adopted the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) in 2005. Moreover, University’s six bachelor and master programs in economics, management, finance, and economic law are accredited by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) based in Kazakhstan.
The TSUC provides 34 BA programmes, 10 MS programmes, and 8 PhD programmes in the fields of Economy, Management, Banking, World Economy, Law, and Business. The University offers Tajik-, Russian-, and English-medium bachelor programmes. The University has a branch (the Institute of Economy and Trade in Khujand), an Economic Gymnasium in Dushanbe, four faculties, and 16 academic departments.
